“I remember Grandma Maria gathering the prunings, the dry leaves from the garden, the rotten fruits and vegetables in a corner. She piled them together and, every once in a while, stirred them up carefully. She left them there to be fermented, to become one with the earth or, even better, to become “earth”. I carefully watched her as she took the leafy soil in her palm, brought it to her face and smelt it. It smells of earth, she said, satisfied. She then threw it onto the roots of the trees and plants in the garden. This is the proper nutrition for strong and healthy plants, she stressed.”
TODAY
Grandma Maria was right. Her garden was the richest in the entire village, with the best crop, green plants, and trees loaded with fruit. When the yield of all other gardens started to drop, hers was the “blessed” one.
This is the traditional recipe that we, at BIOSOLIDS, still follow today. Based on the traditional principles of circular economy bequeathed to us by Grandma Maria, we produce the BIOSOLIDS compost, a natural soil improver without chemicals or additives, with raw materials straight from nature.

The following table presents the dosage range with the minimum values for fields with organic matter 2.5-3% and maximum values for fields with organic matter 1.5-2.5%. A regular soil analysis of the field every 3-5 years is of vital importance. For soils with organic matter below 1.5% or above 3%, the application dosage is given after a consultation with the company’s agriculturist. |

Soil enriched with mycorrhiza, the beneficial fungus (Trichoderma harzianum). It nurtures the root and increases the plant’s resistance to stress (transplant shock, lack of water, frost). It provides a boost to the young sapling or plant during its most vulnerable period. Ideal when installing new crops. |
